ULTHERAPY®, is a non-invasive face and upper neck treatment utilizing ultrasound energy along with your body’s own natural healing process to lift, tone, and tighten loose skin. Many patients notice a tightening “boost” immediately coupled with the gradual process of creating new skin-firming, collagen over three to six months.

Cosmetic Skin and Laser Center was one of the first offices to offer Ultherapy. In fact, we’ve successfully treated hundreds of patients since 2010. Since our providers completed advanced training with Dr. Diane Duncan, world-renowned Ultherapy pioneer, our results are even more dramatic!

The FDA recently approved Ultherapy as the FIRST, non-invasive procedure to improve lines and wrinkles on the décolletage ! Cosmetic Skin And Laser Center will be one of first to offer this ground breaking procedure!

After just ONE treatment, with no surgery, your skin gradually develops a refreshed, firmer, and more youthful appearance.

  • How does Ultherapy work?

All the support of your skin lies in the deepest layers. Ultherapy focuses ultrasound energy into these layers, which respond by instantly tightening the tissue and gradually creating new collagen. By harmlessly passing through the thinner surface skin, Ultherapy avoids the prolonged downtime typical of other nonsurgical “lifts.”
  • Who is a candidate for Ultherapy?

A good candidate is someone whose skin is losing its firmness, especially around the jaw line and upper neck areas. Our patients are typically between the ages of 35-65 with mild to moderate skin laxity. The only patients who cannot be treated are pregnant or lactating women.
  • How soon will I see results?

You may notice toning and firming immediately, but the full lifting and tightening effect will gradually build over the course of three to six months. A variety of factors can affect your response, and your provider will discuss these with you.
  • How long do the results last?

Results are proven to last well over a year since new, healthy collagen has been established (in our experience, many patients continue to benefit beyond 2 years). Of course, your skin does continue to age during this time, so you will benefit from yearly touch-up treatments to help slow down the aging process. Patients typically return for a treatment once every 12-18 months.
  • Does Ultherapy hurt?

Most describe the sensation as akin to a snap from a rubber band. The sensation is temporary, and a sign that the collagen-building process has been initiated. If you have any concerns regarding pain, our providers will be glad to discuss a variety of pain management options with you. Patients typically leave the office comfortable and excited to see the results!
